Mula nung mag-college ako, nakakuha na ako ng lahat ng freedom mag-explore ng kahit anong pagkain, although I really miss eating home made food lalo na yung luto ni papa! haha! Pero since hindi naman lahat nakakakuha ng ganito opportunity. I'll show you my adventures sa food! yey!
Turk's Shawarma and Fruitas Buko Shake
Shawarma- an Arab sandwich-like wrap of shaved lamb, goat, chicken, turkey, beef, or a mixture thereof. The meat is placed on a spit, and may be grilled for as long as a day. Shawarma is a fast-food staple across the Middle East, Europe and the Caucasus.
Shawarma is eaten with pita bread, lavash, tabbouleh, fattoush, taboon bread, tomato and cucumber. Toppings include tahini, hummus, pickled turnips andamba.
Hmm... pagkatapos ng napakadami at iba-ibang task na ginawa ko last Saturday June 30, 2011. I decided na pumunta sa mall para kumain saglit at mamili ng regalo. Hayy! Di ako nakapunta sa Grand Assembly na org ko! :"-/. Anyway, Habang namimili ng gamit at kung ano-ano, naalala ko di pa pala ako kumakain ng food maliban sa Sky Flakes. Since Allowance Day, naisip ko na "i need to treat myself" day dapat! While choosing kung mcdo, kfc, or goldilocks, naisip ko ang shawarma! yey! wala nito sa malapit sa uste- thomasian din ako! Kaya nagdecide ako bumababa ng food court sa may Sm San Lazaro at bumili ng isa. Pero instead sa sikat nilang all-meat beef shawarma kumain na lang ako ng beef shawarma para at least healthy and complete na meal sya- carbo, protein and fiber. :) And let me tell you! SUPER HEAVEN GOODNESS SYA! at mapapaisip ka pa bumili ng isa! lalo na yung all-beef shawarma nila na sobra sikat sa mga growing boys! Actually, nakita ko ito shawarma na ito dahil nirecommend sya ng bestfriend ko si DJ at lagi nya sinasabi na nakakalungkot kapag hindi sya makakadalawa. Pero para lalo ko pa maexplain I'll rate it for you guys!
ADVANTAGES:
- a go-to food pwede ka magmulti-tasking habang kumakain
- mabilis magserve kahit medyo mahaba pila
- super maamaze ka sa paggawa kasi may showmanship yung mga workers paggumagawa sila shawarma. super fast!
- SUPER SARAP ng sauces nila!
Disadvantages:
- a bit pricey... 45php for big beef shawarma- with veggies and 55php for super famous All-meat!
- no store in ust or near ust. :"-/
well, sa mga hindi taga-uste, wala pa ako masyado nakikita stores nila sa ibang malls.
RATINGS: 4.5/5
A must try talaga! I recommend adding a bit of chili sauce para mas lalo mas masarap and buko juice or water. With veggies or all-meat, still super masarap! love. love them.
